Booking channel sync for hostels

Every booking — from the big booking sites or your own website — lands in EZ2Stay automatically, creates the guest record, and schedules the online check-in. The channel manager and PMS are included in the package, so there is no second subscription to buy and no spreadsheet to reconcile.

Do I need a separate channel manager for my hostel?

A channel manager keeps your availability and bookings in sync across booking sites so you never double-sell a bed; a PMS is the system of record for those bookings. With EZ2Stay you don't buy either separately — both are included in the package. Bookings from your connected channels appear in EZ2Stay within minutes, each one triggering the receptionless arrival flow: guest record, check-in link 48–72h before arrival, bed allocation and access codes.

How it works

  1. A guest books anywhere. Booking.com, Hostelworld, Airbnb or your own booking page — availability stays in sync so a bed is never sold twice.
  2. The booking lands in EZ2Stay. Within minutes the reservation appears with dates, room type and guest contact details — the package's channel manager and PMS do this for you.
  3. The arrival flow starts. The guest record is created, a bed is allocated by your rules, and the check-in link is scheduled for 48–72h before arrival.
  4. Changes flow through. Date changes update the stay and code windows; cancellations revoke any issued codes automatically.

This is how Popcorn Hostel, Bucharest runs today: every booking syncs in automatically, and the building — 49 beds, 63 smart locks — operates with no front desk.

Not a fit if

  • You only want a standalone channel manager and nothing else — point tools sell that layer alone; EZ2Stay sells the whole receptionless operation.
  • You run a large hotel that needs an enterprise distribution ecosystem — see our honest Cloudbeds comparison.

Frequently asked questions about EZ2Stay for hostels

Do I need to buy a channel manager separately?

No. The channel manager and PMS are included in the EZ2Stay package — bookings, rates and availability sync with your booking channels as part of the same subscription.

Which booking sites does EZ2Stay work with?

The major booking sites hostels sell on — Booking.com, Hostelworld, Airbnb — plus direct bookings from your own page, all through the package's included channel layer.

How fast do new bookings appear?

Within minutes of the guest booking. Each new reservation immediately creates the guest record and schedules the check-in link for 48–72h before arrival.

What happens when a guest cancels?

The booking is cancelled in EZ2Stay automatically, and any access codes already issued for that stay are revoked at the same time.

Can EZ2Stay double-book a bed?

Availability stays in sync across your channels, so a bed sold on one site closes on the others. Bed-level assignment inside each dorm is then handled by EZ2Stay's allocation rules.
