About EZ2Stay

EZ2Stay is not a software company that studied hostels from the outside. It's built by the person who runs one, to run his own building without a front desk — then sold as the same package.

Who is behind EZ2Stay

Wilhelm Cazimirovici is the founder of EZ2Stay and operates Popcorn Hostel in Bucharest — 49 beds, 63 smart locks: 1 gate + 1 entrance + 12 dorms + 49 lockers. EZ2Stay runs in production there: every guest checks in online, gets a door code, and never meets a receptionist.

There is no separate product team building features on spec. What ships is what the building needs to run without staff at the desk — tested against real guests, real check-ins, and real edge cases, before it's offered to anyone else.

Why it exists

Running a hostel without a 24/7 reception desk means online check-in, ID verification, and smart-lock access all have to work without a human catching the gaps. The platforms available didn't fit a small, bed-level property closely enough, so EZ2Stay was built to close that gap directly — starting with one hostel, one operator, one set of real constraints.

It's sold as a complete package: online check-in, ID verification, smart-lock access, channel sync, and per-dorm cleaning included, not assembled from separate vendors.

How EZ2Stay operates — the philosophy

Receptionless by design: no staffed front desk, no night-shift reception cost baked into the price. Guests check in from their phone, get a code, and reach their bed.

Honest statuses, everywhere: this site marks every feature Live, Beta, or Roadmap — nothing described as available today unless it runs in production now. Claims about pricing, capacity, and what the platform does are checked against a fixed set of real numbers before they're published, not written from memory or rounded up to sound better.

That discipline is a differentiator on its own: most vendors in this space let marketing outrun the product. EZ2Stay's answer is to publish less, but make sure everything published is true today.

What EZ2Stay is not

It is not a full-service hotel PMS. There's no front-desk module, no room-service billing, no concierge workflow — EZ2Stay is built around bed-level dorm operations, not hotel rooms.

It is not a staffed-desk product. There is no reception-handoff step anywhere in the flow — no feature assumes a person is standing at a desk to hand over a key or take cash. If a hostel still wants a staffed front desk, EZ2Stay is the wrong tool.
